Hell's Kitchen star Shoshana Bean will take to the stage at the Young Actors Theatre January 20, 2024 for a concert benefiting the theatre's new movie musical, Joni and The Whale. Bean serves as an executive producer on the film, which will feature performances by Young Actors Theatre students.
Bean is currently starring Off-Broadway in Alicia Keys' new musical Hell's Kitchen, and in 2022 received a Tony nomination for her performance opposite Billy Crystal in Mr. Saturday Night.
The concert will serve as the third benefit by a Broadway star to support the production of Joni and The Whale, which is written and composed by Young Actors Theatre alum David Reiser. The work has previously been developed in NYC with Christy Altomare, Laura Dreyfuss, and more.
