European illusionist Antonio Díaz, otherwise known as El Mago Pop, wowed a sold-out audience on his opening night at Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Direct from Barcelona, the self-titled show, El Mago Pop, began previews August 17 ahead of its official August 20 opening. The limited engagement runs through August 27.
The highest-grossing illusionist in Europe, Díaz adds another mark to his resume with this show—he is now the youngest illusionist to have his own show playing on Broadway. The magician was all smiles as he walked the red carpet on opening night. Check out photos in the gallery below, and read reviews here.
