Film & TV News See Alicia Silverstone, Cheyenne Jackson, and More in New Trailer for American Woman Mena Suvari and Jennifer Bartels also star in the ’70s-set TV series from Paramount.

Paramount has released a new trailer for its upcoming series, American Woman, set amid the sexual revolution and rise of feminism of the 1970s. Inspired by the upbringing of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards, the show follows Bonnie Nolan, played by Alicia Silverstone (Clueless, Time Stands Still on Broadway), who is bringing up her two daughters on her own.

American Woman will premiere on Paramount Network June 7 at 10 PM ET. Watch the trailer above.

The cast also features Broadway's Cheyenne Jackson, Mena Suvari (American Beauty, Chicago Fire), and Jennifer Bartels (Broken).

American Woman is created by Emmy-winning producer John Riggi (The Comeback, 30 Rock, The Larry Sanders Show).
