News RuPaul’s All Stars Pay Tribute to Harvey Fierstein The cast surprised the icon with a performance of “I Am What I Am” from La Cage.

At the third annual Trailblazer Honors, the largest televised LGBT Pride event, the cast of RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race payed tribute to Harvey Fierstein with a surprise performance of “I Am What I Am.” The song is a well-known favorite from the Fierstein/Jerry Herman musical La Cage aux Folles.

The complete Trailblazer Honors is set to air on VHI and Logo at 8 PM ET on June 25.

Fierstein joins honorees Billie Jean King, gay Syrian refugee Subhi Nahas, transgender trailblazers Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, as well as LGBT media outlet The Advocate.

This year’s event is dedicated to Orlando and those affected by the recent tragedy, featuring a video message from Vice President and ally Joe Biden. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Christina Aguilera, Boy George, Whoopi Goldberg and the cast of Strut, Glenn Close, Sia, Rita Ora, Melissa Etheridge, Kelly Osbourne, Denis O’Hare, Kathy Griffin, LeVar Burton, and more also collaborated on a special We Are Orlando tribute video.
