Reviews are in for Premieres NYC's New York premiere of Los Otros, a one-act musical with a book and lyrics by Tony nominee Ellen Fitzhugh (Grind, Paradise Found) and music by five-time Tony nominee Michael John LaChiusa (The Wild Party, Giant). The show began previews August 25 and officially opened August 31 at A.R.T./New York Theatres-Mezzanine Theatre where it has a limited run through October 8.
Luba Mason (Girl From the North Country) and Caesar Samayoa (Come From Away) star in the semi-autobiographical production as two Californians who, while exploring significant moments in their lives, discover they are linked in unexpected ways.

Noah Himmelstein (The Lucky Star; I Am Harvey Milk) directs, joined on the creative team by musical director J. Oconer Navarro (Caroline, or Change), scenic designer Junghyun Georgia Lee, costume designer Alejo Vietti, lighting designer Adam Honoré, and sound designer Ken Travis. Orchestrations are by Bruce Coughlin. Robert Bennett is production stage manager, and the run is produced and general managed by Joey Monda of Dailey-Monda Management, and produced by Paulette Haupt and Mary J. Davis.
Los Otros made its East Coast premiere in 2017 under Himmelstein’s direction at Everyman Theatre in Baltimore, following a 2012 Los Angeles premiere under the direction of Graciela Daniele (Ragtime, Once On This Island).
