Emmy winner Sarah Snook (Succession) has signed on to reprise her Olivier-winning performance in a potential spring 2025 Broadway transfer of The Picture of Dorian Gray, Deadline reports. Adapted and directed by Sydney Theatre Company Artistic Director Kip Williams, the West End production officially opened February 15 at The Theatre Royal Haymarket, and plays its final performance May 11. The adaptation was first seen in Sydney in 2020.
Williams' play employs an interplay of video and theatre, where a collection of onstage cameras bringing allows Snook to bring the 26 characters of the play to life. In addition to Snook's Best Actress Olivier win, the production recently took home the 2024 Olivier Award for Best Costume Design for Marg Horwell.
The production also features lighting design by Nick Schlieper, composition and sound design by Clemence Williams, and video design by David Bergman.
The London engagement is produced by Michael Cassel, Adam Kenwright, Len Blavatnik and Danny Cohen, Daryl Roth, Amanda Lipitz and Henry Tisch, and Jonathan Church.
