The von Trapp Family from The Sound of Music:

The Sound of Music centers around the von Trapp family, a fictionalized version of the real life von Trapp Family Singers. The family includes Captain Georg von Trapp, Maria (Rainer) von Trapp, Liesl, Freidrich, Louisa, Kurt, Brigitta, Marta and Gretl. We would hope that "Uncle" Max Detweiler would also be invited to join into the festivities. Perhaps dinner would end with a sing-a-long led by Maria.

The Turnblads are the main family in Hairspray. They are made up of Tracy, a young girl who dreams of making it big as a dancer; her mother Edna, who spends most of her time hiding inside her home; and her father Wilbur, who owns a practical joke shop. We bet that Tracy would also invite her boyfriend, Link Larkin, and her best friends, Penny Pingleton and Seaweed J. Stubbs.

Next to Normal focuses on the Goodmans, a family struggling to recover from a life-changing loss. The family consists of parents Diana and Dan, their daughter Natalie and their son Gabe, who weaves in and out of their lives. Perhaps Natalie would invite her boyfriend Henry to join her family for Thanksgiving dinner.

On Your Feet! is based on the lives of singer-songwriter Gloria Estefan and her husband, music producer Emilio Estefan. In real life, the Estefans have a son named Nayib and a daughter named Emily. We can only assume that a dinner at the Estefans would be full of upbeat music, great stories and delicious food.

If/Then centers around Elizabeth Vaughan and two of the possible routes that she can take in life. We aren't quite sure who we would end up eating Thanksgiving dinner with, but we can be sure that conversation would be very interesting and thought-provoking in either situation.
