From a Fair Lady to a Boy From Oz, Playbill is giving a standing ovation to all the stars born in the spookiest month.

It's Autumn in New York! As the leaves fall, ghosts, goblins, and black cats roam, and pumpkin spice lattes warm every tongue, we are (trick or) treating the Broadway babies who are celebrating their birthdays in October. See what they're currently working on, and check out the Playbill Vault for other theatre notables with October birthdays.

Let's "Take It Up A Step" for our October 1 birthdays, song-and-dance man Christian Borle, who is soon-to-be-seen in Broadway's Tammy Faye. Also celebrating on the first of the month are legendary legend star Julie Andrews (My Fair LadyVictor/VictoriaCamelot) and lyricist Lynn Ahrens (Once on This Island, Anastasia, Ragtime).

There's something about Samatha Barks, who celebrates her birthday on October 2 and whose performance in Frozen in the West End will be available to stream on Disney+ in 2025.

October 3 is the "Perfect" day to celebrate Derek Klena (Jagged Little PillMoulin Rouge! The Musical).

We're going to keep the celebration movin' for Heather Headley (The Color PurpleAida) on October 5.

October 6 is a day of Maybe Happy Endings for Michael Arden, Casey Nicholaw (whose production of Hercules will be seen in the West End next year), and Will Butler (Stereophonic).

O, wonder! October 8 is Sigourney Weaver (Vanya, and Sonia, and Masha, and Spike) and Max Crumm's (Disaster!Grease) special day.

We'll be singing, "hello" to darling Victoria Clark (who will be directing Love Life at New York City Center in 2025) and Ben Vereen (WickedFosseJelly's Last Jam) on October 10.

"The Words Come Pouring Out" on October 11 as we celebrate Judy Kaye (Diana, The Musical) and Jane Krakowski (She Loves Me).

We'll have trouble on October 12 if we do not give a shout out to Hugh Jackman (The Music Man), and Lorna Courtney (& Juliet).

We have no Doubt that John Patrick Shanley (Outside Mullingar) is in for a fantastic October 13.

All the chairs at every table will be full on October 15 for Linda Lavin (Our Mother's Brief Affair) and Gavin Lee (SpongeBob SquarepantsLes Misérables).

They're larger than life! Actor Drew Gehling (& Juliet's newest Shakespeare) and playwright Kenneth Lonergan (Hold on to Me Darling Off-Broadway with Adam Driver) celebrate on October 16.

On October 17, we'll be thinking of producer Cameron Mackintosh (The Phantom of the Opera), Left on Tenth director Susan Stroman, Michael McKean (The Little Foxes), Rob Marshall (CabaretSeussical), and David Cromer (Prayer for the French Republic).

For one night only, October 19, Jennifer Holliday (The Color PurpleChicagoDreamgirls) is our ultimate dreamgirl. Also celebrating is Broadway's Bill Clinton, John Lithgow (Hillary and ClintonAll My Sons).

On October 21, Aaron Tveit (Moulin Rouge! The Musical) can tell everyone this is his birthday.

Let them be your stars! Marc Shaiman (the upcoming musical Smash), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Take Me Out), and Jeff Goldblum (the upcoming Wicked film) will be celebrating October 22.

Whatever age Maury Yeston (NineTitanic) turns on October 23, we know its a remarkable age indeed!

October 25 marks the beginning of Adam Pascal's (RentPretty Woman: The Musical) season.

We'll be singing "Into the Bitter End" for Will Swenson (A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical) and Anthony Rapp (Rent) on October 26.

October 30, Matthew Morrison (Finding NeverlandSouth Pacific), Ann Roth (Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus), George Abud (LempickaThe Band's Visit).

We'll be feeling just wild about Brian Stokes Mitchell (Ragtime) on October 31, which is Halloween and our finale birthday for the month.
