PigPen Theatre Co.’s critically acclaimed ensemble musical The Old Man and The Old Moon, seen Off-Broadway in 2012 and in a revised staging in 2014, is now available for licensing by amateur and professional theatre groups.

Broadway Licensing picked up worldwide rights to the atmospheric fable that charmed audiences with its blend of live music and inventive shadow play that told the story of a man whose job is to collect spilled light to refill the leaking moon.

PigPen Theatre Co., a collective of theatre artists, actors, and musicians, was formed at Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in 2008. The company continued to revise The Old Man and The Old Moon following its 2012 Off-Broadway run at The Gym at Judson. A reworked version premiered at The Writers Theatre in 2013, and returned to New York for a 2014 run at The New Victory Theatre.
