What Became of Us is wrapping up its run June 29 and the production has released photos of current stars Tony winner Tony Shalhoub and Emmy winner Shohreh Aghdashloo. In the two-hander play by Shayan Lofti, the actors play two siblings, "one born there [and] one born here," according to press notes. The play examines how they maintain their connections to the old country, to this country, and to each other.
The play began its run May 17, with Rosalind Chao and BD Wong. Then, in accordance with the playwright's vision, the cast switched out halfway in the play's run. Read the reviews from Chao's and Wong's run here. See photos of Shalhoub and Aghdashloo below.

The show is directed by Jennifer Chang. The production also features sets by Tanya Orellana, costumes by Rodrigo Muñoz, lighting by Reza Behjat, sound and compositions by Fan Zhang, and casting by Caparelliotis Casting's David Caparelliotis and Joe Geary. Alyssa K. Howard is the production stage manager.
