Photos: Callum Scott Howells and Madeline Brewer Are West End Cabaret's Newest Emcee and Sally Bowles

Callum Scott Howells and Madeline Brewer joined the West End's Olivier-winning revival of Cabaret October 3 as the Emcee and Sally Bowles, respectively, and now we've got a first look at the two screen stars in the production. The duo are set to perform through January 28, 2023, at the newly renovated Playhouse Theatre.

Also new to the cast are Sid Sagar as Cliff Bradshaw, Danny Mahoney as Ernst Ludwig, and Michelle Bishop as Fraulein Kost.

Vivien Parry and Richard Katz continue to star as Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz, respectively. Rounding out the cast are Gabriela Benedetti, Charles Croysdill, Laura Delany, Sally Frith, Matthew Gent, Ying Ue Li, Ela Lisondra, Chris O’Mara, Grant Neal, Hicaro Nicolai, Adam Taylor, Toby Turpin, Patrick Wilden, and Sophie Maria Wojna.

The production has also revealed a new prologue company—a group of actors, dancers, and musicians who welcome visitors to The Kit Kat Club from the moment they walk in the door—scheduled to join the revival beginning October 24. The production will welcome newcomers Ami Benton, James Hastings, Emma Holt, Liz Kamille, Aine McLoughlin, and Callum Sterling, joining alongside continuing prologue company members Rachel Benson, Laura Braid, Reuben Greeph, Samantha Ho, and Andrew Linnie.

This immersive production of Cabaret features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, a book by Joe Masteroff, and is based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood. The show opened December 21, 2021, with Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley as leads. With 11 nominations and seven wins, the revival swept the 2022 Olivier Awards.

The production from Ambassador Theatre Group Productions and Underbelly features choreography by Julia Cheng, set and costume design by Tom Scutt, lighting by Isabella Byrd, sound design by Nick Lidster, and musical direction by Jennifer Whyte. Casting is by Stuart Burt, with Jordan Fein serving as associate director.
