Darius de Haas, who provided the singing voice of Shy Baldwin on TV's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, will return to 54 Below April 29 and May 6 at 7 PM with Maisel and More.
Celebrating the fifth and final season of Maisel, de Haas will offer all the songs he performed as Shy Baldwin and will also pay tribute to the singers who inspired the character, from Nat King Cole to Sam Cooke and Sarah Vaughn. The actor will also share stories of his experiences on the hit series.
"The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel was such an unexpected, crazy, fun experience for me," says de Haas. "Everyone from the music team, the show's designers, production team, the actors, the sound and camera crews, producers, to the creators of the show, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino, the songwriters Curtis Moore and Tom Mizer, and, of course, the actor who played Shy, Leroy McClain, were all just wonderful and wacky and working at the top of their game. It was like catching lightning in a bottle. I cannot wait to share the love I have for my experience on the show with all of you."
