NBC's music-filled Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist has been renewed for a second season.
The show stars Jane Levy as Zoey, a woman who hears the innermost thoughts of the people around her as songs, and features original SpringAwakening star Skylar Astin as Zoey’s friend Max and Once On This Island standoutAlex Newell as her neighbor Mo.
Mary Steenburgen (Candida) plays Zoey's mother Maggie with Peter Gallagher (On the Twentieth Century) as Zoey’s father Mitch and Lauren Graham (Guys and Dolls) as her boss Joan. John Clarence Stewart is also a series regular.
A portion of the proceeds from the concert will benefit the Entertainment Community Fund's Women's Health Initiative, founded by the late Phyllis Newman.
Named for one of the greatest dance icons in American theatre history, the Chita Rivera Awards honor dancers and choreographers throughout the theatre industry.
The film purports to examine the Chicago Outfit’s alleged involvement in the JFK assassination, drawing directly from firsthand accounts and insights from the family of crime boss Sam Giancana.
