Broadway in Worcester's 2024–2025 season in Worcester, Massachusetts, will feature several Broadway favorites at the Jean McDonough Arts Center BrickBox Theater.
The concert series will launch September 13 with An Evening With Megan Hilty, just weeks before the Smash and Wicked star returns to Broadway in the new musical Death Becomes Her. Attendees can expect a set list ranging from Broadway hits to country classics and "everything in between."
On December 11, two-time Tony winner Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens, 42nd Street) will be joined by Grammy-winning pianist Billy Stritch as they ring in the holidays in I'll Be Home for Christmas. The performance will celebrate the duo's 20-year working partnership, which began when they met during the Broadway revival of 42nd Street.
Broadway in Worcester will conclude its season with a March 7 concert featuring Hello, Dolly! Tony winner Gavin Creel, who was seen last season in his journey of discovery, Walk On Through: Confessions of a Museum Novice.
Broadway in Worcester, a new initiative launched by Worcester native Eric Butler in 2022, also fosters collaboration between top talents and the area’s local high school and college students and their arts faculty through free educational programming. Each artist participates in master classes or workshops for students and educators prior to their performances.
