Clue at Paper Mill Playhouse Evan Zimmerman for Murphy Made

The stage adaptation of cult favorite film Clue is ready to hit the road, with a new national tour set to launch from Minneapolis, Minnesota's Orpheum Theatre February 27. Casey Hushion is again directing the production, a remount of Paper Mill Playhouse's 2022 staging.

And now we have our suspects.

John Treacy Egan and Mark Price will reprise their performances as Colonel Mustard and Wadsworth (respectively) from the Paper Mill run. They'll be newly joined by Mariah Burks as the Cook, Michelle Elaine as Miss Scarlet, Joanna Glushak as Mrs. Peacock, Tari Kelly as Mrs. White, John Shartzer as Mr. Green, Jonathan Spivey as Professor Plum, Alex Syiek as Mr. Boddy, Teddy Trice as the Cop, and Elisabeth Yancey as Yvette. Rounding out the company are understudies Greg Balla, Alison Ewing, Mary McNulty, and James Taylor Odom.

Adapted from the 1985 film and the board game from which both are inspired, Clue is written by Sandy Rustin with additional material by Hunter Foster and Eric Price, based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn. It features original music by Michael Holland. The work sees six mysterious guests converge on Boddy Manor for a night they'll never forget—if they get out alive.

Hushion is reassembling much of her entire creative team from the Paper Mill run, including scenic designer Lee Savage, costume designer Jen Caprio, lighting designer Ryan J. O'Gara, and hair and wig designer J. Jared Janas. New for the touring run is sound designer Jeff Human. The Araca Group, Work Light Productions, Lively McCabe Entertainment, and Aged in Wood are producing.

The tour is currently set to make 19 stops following the Minnesota launch, with runs planned in Kentucky, Wisconsin, Missouri, Ohio, South Carolina, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Washington, and California. See the full itinerary at ClueLiveOnStage.com.
