No cold feet here—nor anxiety-ridden patter songs! Broadway boyfriends Matt Doyle and Max Clayton are officially engaged, and they made it official while in Schoonhoven, Netherlands, on a Playbill Cruise.

"While traveling through Schoonhoven in the Netherlands, we spotted a pair of rings, handmade by a local jeweler in town," shares Doyle in an Instagram post. "Shockingly, they were both a perfect fit. After eight years together, we think we like each other enough to make it official. From meeting at a Starbucks in New York to Schoonhoven. We are so incredibly lucky."

Congrats to the happy couple!

Doyle is currently playing Seymour in Off-Broadway's Little Shop of Horrors. He's a 2022 Tony winner for his tongue-tying (and ironically marriage-averse) performance as Jamie in Company, and has also appeared on Broadway in Spring AwakeningBye Bye BirdieWar Horse, and The Book of Mormon. Clayton has quickly become one of Broadway’s leading ensemble men after making his Broadway debut in 2015’s Gigi and moving on to On the Town, Something Rotten!, Bandstand, and Hello, Dolly! Clayton also earned applause as the Harold Hill standby in Broadway's recent revival of The Music Man.

Both Doyle and Clayton were part of the all-star line-up for Playbill Travel's Broadway, Tulips & Chocolate cruise, which ran April 16-23. Along with Beth Leavel, Ken Page, Jessie Mueller, and John McDaniel, the pair sailed with theatre fans from Brussels to Amsterdam on the Sheldt, Meuse, Dommel, De Lok, and Amstel Rivers while discovering the tulips, chocolate, and history of the beautiful region. Guests embarked on exciting excursions by day and were treated to performances from the Broadway favorites aboard at night.

Upcoming Playbill Travel cruises—the perfect vacation for any Broadway fan—include Alaska with Brian Stokes Mitchell, Rob McClure, Kate Baldwin, John Lloyd Young, and John McDaniel; and Tahiti and the islands of French Polynesia with Sara Bareilles, Denée Benton, Gavin Creel, Christopher Fitzgerald, Seth Rudetsky, and John McDaniel.
