The season will kick off with Pulitzer-winning play Driving Miss Daisy, running June 12-28 and directed by Tony nominee Hunter Foster. Mamma Mia! will follow, running July 5-August 2, with direction by Michael Bello and music direction by Eric Alsford. The season will conclude with Million Dollar Quartet, running August 8-23, with Rachel Sabo-Hedges directing and Foster (who starred in the musical's original Broadway cast) serving as creative consultant.
Theatre Aspen has also announced the return of two additional programs: the Summer Cabaret Series, which will be held June 29, July 20, and August 10 at the Hotel Jerome; and the 6th annual Solo Flights new works festival. Additional information on the season will be announced in the coming weeks.
