News Mamie Gummer Will Star in Readings of Sundogs David Esbjornson directs.
Industry readings of Howard Emanuel's Sundogs will be presented October 17 at 3:30 PM and October 18 at 3 PM.

Directed by David Esbjornson (The Goat or Who Is Sylvia?, Driving Miss Daisy), the cast will feature Mamie Gummer (Ugly Lies the Bone, Emily Owens, M.D.), Jordan Bridges (Rizzoli & Isles, J. Edgar), McKinley Belcher III (Mercy Street, The Royale), Chris Stack (Ugly Lies the Bone, Marie Antoinette) and Tobias Segal (Bad Guys, Miracle Worker).

Sundogs is described as “a haunting and humorous meditation on belief, hope and love. It is the story of Joseph Garnier, a soldier in the US Army navigating his way through the emotional home front mine fields of the first day of deer hunting season and the eve of his redeployment overseas.”

The production team also includes stage manager Matthew Farrell and assistant director Jennifer Curfman with casting by Telsey + Company.

Sundogs is produced by Incomplete Rainbow LLC and Bandits Roost Entertainment; associate producers are Todd and Elizabeth Donovan and Dr. Eric Leinwohl. General management is by Jumpstart Entertainment.
