Lauren Testerman, Maggie McDowell, Matthew Schatz, and Erin Lamar in Love Quirks

The Off-Broadway musical Love Quirks will reopen this summer after a hiatus following the COVID-19 shutdown. Previews begin June 16, with opening night set for June 27. Directed by Brian Childers, the production will play AMT Theater, a new venue in midtown Manhattan.

Original cast members Maggie McDowell (Kinky Boots), Matthew Schatz (Heathers: The Musical), Erin Lamar (Bring It On! national tour), and Lauren Testerman will return to the show, along with understudies Dylan Hartwell and Rori Nogee.

The musical, based on actual events, surrounds a group of people in their thirties as they explore love and friendship.

Love Quirks has a score by Seth Bisen-Hersh (On the Twentieth Century), a book by Mark Childers, and direction by Brian Childers. Returning to the production team are musical director Austin Nuckols, production stage manager Brent Michael Jones, and lighting designer Josh Lacovelli.
