Broadway star Laura Osnes will host the latest installment of her The Broadway Princess Party concert series February 11 at Feinstein’s/54 Below. The Party features stage actors singing some of the most beloved “princess” songs from movies or stage musicals, especially those created by Disney.
With music direction by Benjamin Rauhala, the Party will get two performances, at 7 PM and 9:30 PM. Other princesses for this concert will be announced in the coming weeks.
Osnes has appeared on Broadway in Grease, South Pacific, Anything Goes, Bonnie & Clyde (Tony Award nomination), Bandstand, and Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, in the title role (Tony nomination).
According to Feinstein’s/54 Below, “Where else might a little mermaid duet with a beautiful bookworm? Or might an ice queen drink tea with a princess no bigger than the size of a thumb? Might the princess with a lost glass slipper confide in a princess who lives in a tower, with the longest of hair? Get your ballgown out of the closet, dust off that tiara and make your way to Feinstein’s/54 Below for a Broadway Princess Party you will never forget!”
Feinstein’s/54 Below is located at 254 West 54th Street, beneath Studio 54, in Manhattan. Tickets, which cost $65 to $110 (plus a $25 food/drink minimum), can be ordered here. Tickets on the day of performance after 4 PM are available only by calling (646) 476-3551.
