The evening salutes NYU Tisch School of the Arts' Dean Emerita Mary Schmidt Campbell and Municipal Arts Society's President Vin Cipolla. Dr. Campbell will receive the John Houseman Award, recognizing her "profound commitment to the development of actors and arts education in America." Cipolla will be presented with the Warburg Humanitarian Award for his "outstanding philanthropic endeavor and support of the arts."
Jesse L. Martin and David Rockefeller, Jr. present the awards. Stephen DeRosa hosts the Gala, which features a performance by Tony winner Billy Porter.
Proceeds support The Acting Company's repertory of theatrical productions and arts education for underserved audiences and students.
