News Justin Matthew Sargent Steps In for Injured Constantine Maroulis in Broadway's Rock of Ages Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis, who recently returned to the role of Drew in the hit musical Rock of Ages at the Helen Hayes Theatre, is temporarily out of the Tony-nominated production due to a low-grade muscle tear.

In his absence, Justin Matthew Sargent, whose Broadway credits also include Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and Bonnie and Clyde, is playing the role. Maroulis, according to a show spokesperson, is scheduled to return to the production Nov. 9.

Rock of Ages currently stars Carrie St. Louis as Sherrie, Chester See as Stacee Jaxx, Genson Blimline as Lonny, Adam Dannheisser as Dennis, Cody Scott Lancaster as Franz, Josephine Rose Roberts as Regina, Paul Schoeffler as Hertz and Teresa Stanley as Justice with Cristy Candler, Alyssa Herrera, Tony LePage, Michael Minarik, Rebecca Riker, Josh Sassanella, Andre Ward and Katie Webber.

The musical is produced on Broadway and worldwide by Matthew Weaver, Michael Cohl and Jonathan Linden/S2BN Entertainment, in association with Carl Levin, Jeff Davis, Barry Habib, Scott Prisand, Reagan Silber, Relativity Media, Janet Billig Rich and Hillary Weaver.
