June is going to be a great streaming month for theatre lovers! This month, prepare to tune in to the new Netflix series Man vs. Bee, Hulu's star-studded Fire Island, the Disney+'s proshot of Trevor: The Musical, and more. In addition to the exciting titles below, Amazon Prime has added the 2016 adaptation of Fences to its catalogue, starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis from the Tony Award-winning 2010 Broadway revival, and HBO Max added the 2007 Hairspray musical adaptation starring Nikki Blonsky and Zac Efron. Man vs. Bee (June 24)
Starring West End’s Rowan Atkinson, also known for playing Mr. Bean on television, this comedy series centers on a man going head-to-head with a bee while housesitting at a mansion filled with priceless artifacts and classic cars. Renowned actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson plays a new character in this riotous comedy. The unwelcomed guest makes Trevor question whether he can keep everything under control.

Fire Island (June 3)
The streamer's upcoming romantic comedy is inspired by Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and stars stage actors Conrad Ricamora, Tomás Matos, and Nick Adams. The flick follows two best friends who embark on a summer adventure with a larger ensemble of their friends. Alongside Ricamora, Matos, and Adams, the multi-cultural rom-com features an all-star cast including Joel Kim Booster, Bowen Yang, Margaret Cho, Torian Miller, and James Scully.

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 (June 28)
This comedy follows a trio of unlikely friends, played by Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Selena Gomez, who band together to solve a mystery while making a podcast. The cast of the first season featured a number of theatre favorites including Jayne Houdyshell, Mandy Gonzalez, and Ali Stroker. Will this second season see the trio escaping the chaos they’ve stirred?

A filmed performance of the Off-Broadway musical's run at Stage 42 follows an original story by Celeste Lecesne and Peggy Rajski's 1995 Oscar-winning short film, about 13-year-old Trevor, who struggles to navigate his own identity and determine how he fits in a challenging world on a journey of self-discovery.
Glee (June 1)
The musical comedy, which ran for six seasons from 2009 to 2015, follows a high school Glee Club on their journey to show choir fame. The core cast featured a variety of stage favorites including Lea Michele as Broadway-bound Rachel Berry; Matthew Morrison as Glee Club coach Mr. Schuester; Jenna Ushkowitz as shy Tina Cohen-Chang; Jane Lynch as Glee club rival and cheerleader coach Sue Sylvester; and more, including guest performances from Idina Menzel, Kristen Chenoweth and Jonathan Groff.

Loot (June 24)
Stage actor Michaela Jaé Rodriguez stars as a lead in the new Apple TV comedy about a billionaire who falls to rock bottom and learns the gift of giving back. The performer stars in the series alongside Maya Rudolph, Joel Kim Booster, Nat Faxon, and Ron Funches.

The 75th Annual Tony Awards (June 12)
Following last year's two-part broadcast, the 2022 Tony Awards will include an hour of exclusive programming, hosted by POTUS' Julianne Hough and American Buffalo's Darren Criss, streaming on Paramount+ June 12 from 7 PM ET, followed by the three-hour awards ceremony airing live on CBS and streaming simultaneously on Paramount+ from 8 PM ET. The broadcast will also be available to stream on demand on Paramount+ for all membership tiers following the live stream.
