London News John Doyle Will Direct World Premiere of Alfred Hitchcock Presents Musical

The new musical from Steven Lutvak and Jay Dyer will open at Theatre Royal Bath next year.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents—a new musical based on the classic 1955–1962 TV series—will make its world premiere next year at London's Theatre Royal Bath.

Tony winner John Doyle (Sweeney Todd, Company) will direct the production, which will begin previews March 22, 2025, prior to an official opening March 27 for a limited engagement through April 12.

Billed as a "unique theatrical journey inside the mind" of Hitchcock (Psycho, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Rear Window, The Birds), the new musical features an original score by Steven Lutvak (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder) and a book by Jay Dyer (Showtime’s Californication).

Alfred Hitchcock Presents will weave together episodes of the long-running series to take audiences on a whodunit musical journey. Casting and additional creative team members will be announced at a later date.

Theatre Royal Bath Productions produces in association with Universal Theatrical Group.
