Jill Sobule's F*ck7thGrade returns Off-Broadway November 1 for a run through November 16 at wild project. The piece was a 2023 Drama Desk nominee for Outstanding Musical.

Sobule conceived and penned the musical's music and lyrics, with Liza Birkenmeier writing the book. Lisa Peterson again directs, and music direction is by Julie Wolf.

Described as a "queer musical memoir," F*ck7thGrade features performances from Sobule, Wolf, Kristen Ellis-Henderson, and Nini Camps.

The return production features scenic design by Rachel Hauck, lighting design by Oona Curley, sound design by Elisabeth Weidner, and costume design by David F. Zambrana. Allison Parker is stage manager, and Gregory Kostroff is audio engineer.

The work was developed and workshopped at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's City Theatre Company as a part of its 2018 Momentum Festival, and at the Colorado New Play Festival in 2009. The original wild project production ran October 14-November 19, 2022.
