Broadway alum Jessica Hendy's solo musical Walking With Bubbles will release a cast album December 1. The album will be available on all streaming networks, with physical CDs available for purchase at The musical played Off-Broadway's AMT Theater earlier this year.

Written and performed by Hendy, Walking With Bubbles features music and lyrics by Brianna Kothari Barnes was directed by Richard Hess.

The upcoming album will include the performance's seven songs in their entirety, along with "radio/concert edits" of some tracks and a bonus track of the work's cut title song.

The work, which won the Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Solo Performance, explores Hendy's time as a Broadway actor (Hendy's credits include Cats, Amour, and AIDA) while being a single mom struggling with mental illness.

"It's scary to be so vulnerable in sharing the private issues I've faced in my personal life and within my family, but it's also an important part of healing," Hendy previously said. "Brianna and I have come together to bring this taboo topic into the spotlight. It impacts so many people but is seldom talked about."

Presented by Tom D’Angora and Michael D’Angora, the production also featured lighting design by Aiden Bezark, set design by Mark Halpin, piano accompaniment by Alexandra Crosby, and music supervision by Jacob Yates.

The work, initially a play with music, premiered at Irondale Theatre's On Woman festival in 2021, after which Barnes was brought on to supply an original score. An industry reading of the musical version was held last year in Manhattan.

Walking With Bubbles was co-produced with Scott Coulter and Dave Gaebler, Vibecke Dahle Dellapolla, Jill Wilkinson in association with Erica Huss and Dame Productions and Linda Mountain.
