Tony winner and television star Jane Krakowski will host A Tectonic Cabaret benefiting the Tectonic Theatre Project October 2. The annual benefit promises a star-studded lineup of performers to be announced. The concert will be begin at Sony Hall with a cocktail hour at 6:30 PM and performances kicking off at 7:30 PM.
Tectonic Theater Project is a not-for-profit theatre company based in New York City. The company has created and staged more than 20 plays and musicals, including artistic director and founder Moisés Kaufman's Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, The Laramie Project, Doug Wright's Pulitzer-winning I Am My Own Wife, and Kaufman's Tony Award-winning 33 Variations starring Jane Fonda. Kaufman also co-wrote and directed the Emmy Award-nominated HBO film adaptation of The Laramie Project.
“We are absolutely thrilled to announce the fabulous and incredibly talented Jane Krakowski as the host for A Tectonic Cabaret, our highly anticipated annual event, this October...Since its inception in 2019, this event has become a true celebration of joy and artistry," says Moisés Kaufman, Founding Artistic Director of Tectonic Theater Project.
Proceeds from the cabaret will benefit the theatre's development of new works and education programs through The Moment Work Institute. Tickets are now available on TectonicTheaterProject.org.
