Pulitzer-winning Fat Ham playwright James Ijames and two-time Tony winner Victoria Clark (Kimberly Akimbo) are among the new additions to this season's Tony Awards Nominating Committee, which will collectively decide who's up for honors at this year's ceremony. As previously announced, the 78th Annual Tony Awards will be held June 8, 2025, at Radio City Music Hall and will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+.
Also newly joining the committee are Brian Harlan Brooks, Dr. Jamie Cacciola-Price, Kevin Cahoon, Donald P. Gagnon, Deeksha Gaur, Rosalie Joseph, Rod Kaats, Peter Marks, Jessica Paz, Georgina Pazcoguin, T. Oliver Reid, Liam Robinson, Carole Rothman, Mark Stanley, Susan Soon He Stanton, Sam Strasfeld, and Alexandria Wailes.
Continuing after serving last season are Bob Balaban, Danielle Barlow, Sarah Benson, Rick Boynton, Adam Chanler-Berat, Jordan E. Cooper, Carmel Dean, Ty Defoe, Andy Einhorn, Dan Foster, Linda Goodrich, Miranda Haymon, Michael R. The group comprises theatre professionals across all disciplines, including actors, producers, writers, designers, educators, and casting directors.
As in previous years, The Tony Awards will be available live on CBS nationwide June 8, and will stream on Paramount+, live for Showtime-level subscribers and on-demand for Essential-level subscribers beginning June 9. The CBS broadcast will be live on both coasts, running 8-11 PM ET and 5-8 PM PT (check local listings).
