Jagged Little Pill, which ended its Broadway run December 17, 2021, will launch a multi-year North American tour this fall. The production, which will play Seattle's Paramount Theatre November 8-13, will visit more than 30 cities during its first year.

Casting for the tour of the musical, inspired by the rock album of the same name by seven-time Grammy winner Alanis Morissette, will be announced at a later time.

"This musical has been a guiding light, a grounding touchstone, and a buoy for me to be part of,” says Morissette. “To know it is about to travel has me feeling grateful and excited!"

Jagged Little Pill has a book by Diablo Cody and songs by Morisette, from her 1995 album. The work opened on Broadway December 5, 2019, after beginning previews November 3. While sidelined during the Broadway shutdown, the production was nominated for 15 2020 Tony Awards, winning Best Book of a Musical for Cody and Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical for Lauren Patten.

The musical reopened in October 2021 following the shutdown but closed only two months later. The closing followed a number of COVID-related performance cancellations and postponements.

The Diane Paulus-helmed production features choreography by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui; music supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Tom Kitt; music direction by Bryan Perri; sets by Tony nominee Riccardo Hernández; costumes by Emily Rebholz; lighting by Tony nominee Justin Townsend; sound design by Jonathan Deans; projection and video design by Lucy Mackinnon; and hair, wig, and make-up design by J. Jared Janas.

Vivek J. Tiwary, Arvind Ethan David, and Eva Price produce. Visit JaggedLittlePill.com.
