The Muny premiere of the Tony-winning In the Heights runs August 9–15 on the James S. McDonnell Stage in Forest Park, Missouri.
Directed and choreographed by William Carlos Angulo, the cast is led by Benji Santiago as Usnavi, Ariana Burks as Nina, Alex Joseph Grayson as Benny, Alysia Velez as Vanessa, Nancy Ticotin as Abuela Claudia, Miguel Gil as Sonny, Martín Solá as Kevin, Karmine Alers as Camila, Darilyn Castillo as Daniela, Marlene Fernandez as Carla, U.J. Mangune as Graffiti Pete, and Ángel Lozada as the Standby for Usnavi.

Ensemble
members and swings include Marissa Barragán, Angelica Maria Beliard, Ixchel
Cuellar, Ralphie Rivera De Jesús, Adriel Flete, Reyna Guerra, Emily

Matthew Rivera, Kiana Coryn Rodriguez, Francisco Javier Thurston, and
Alora Tonielle. The company is joined by the Muny Kid and Teen
Youth Ensemble.
With a score by Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Pulitzer Prize winner Quiara Alegría Hudes, the Washington Heights-set In the Heights originally played 29 previews and 1,184 regular performances at the Richard Rodgers Theatre March 9, 2008–January 9, 2011. The production was nominated for 13 2008 Tony Awards, winning four, including Best Musical.
The Muny production also has music direction by conductor Roberto Sinha, scenic design by Arnel Sancianco, costume design by Leon Dobkowski, lighting design by Rob Denton, co-sound design by John Shivers and David Patridge, video design by Caite Hevner, wig design by Kelley Jordan, and production stage management by Jhanaë Bonnick.
