Firecracker Entertainment, an immersive theatre company that specializes in experiences based on fantasy novels, has announced its newest offering, A Summoned Experience: Afternoon Tea. Based on the Summoned series by M.B. Thurman, the one-day-only performance will recreate the book's Cedar Creek Inn, and fans will dine alongside the core characters of the series. Audiences will also enjoy exclusive music from the Summoned composer Cherish Danae and previously unreleased material from the next book in the series, Crossed. A Summoned Experience: Afternoon Tea will be presented inside the real bed and breakfast Miller Tree Inn, located in Forks, Washington, September 7 at 1:00 PM PST.
Set in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Washington state, Summoned centers on Hadley Weston, a newfound witch who reunites with her secret lover, Fitz MacGregor, to solve a family mystery that originated during seventeenth century. With the Scottish witch trials and medieval Scotland as the backdrop, both uncover more than they had bargained for.
A Summoned Experience: Afternoon Tea will feature Samantha Rose Baldwin (Stranger Things: Immersive Experience) as Hadley Weston, Trent Thurman as Henry Stuart, Britt Byrd (Twilight Of The Gods, She Kills Monsters) as Izzy MacGregor, Audrey Lilyquist as Maka “Hope” Nahimana, Vee Elle as Mia Davies, Anna McGuinness as Molly Young, Bill Brager as Ben Bergman, and Susan Brager as Sarah Bergman. Author M.B. Thurman will also be present throughout the festivities.
Additional casting information, including that of Fitz MacGregor, will be announced at a later date.
A Summoned Experience: Afternoon Tea is the first annual offering to be produced by Firecracker Entertainment and the Forever Twilight in Forks Festival, an annual celebration of The Twilight Saga by held in Forks, Washington. Ticket sales from A Summoned Experience: Afternoon Tea will benefit the Forks Community Hospital.
