The 20-city concert tour will play Seattle, New York, Chicago, Toronto, Los Angeles, and more.

Tony winner Idina Menzel, recently seen in the La Jolla Playhouse world premiere of the new musical Redwood, will launch a concert tour of North America this summer, according to Deadline.

Entitled the Take Me or Leave Me Tour, Menzel will offer songs from her award-winning career, including tunes from Rent, Wicked, and her newest album, Drama Queen.

The tour, which will play 20 stops, will launch in Seattle, Washington, July 19 at the Paramount and continue through August 18 with a final stop in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the Steven Tanger Center. In between, the Broadway favorite will play Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, New York (at the Beacon Theatre), Toronto, and more.

Menzel was also Tony-nominated for her performances in If/Then and Rent. The actor is the focus of the new documentary Which Way to the Stage?, which made its premiere on Disney+ in December 2023. The film, which features footage of Menzel on Broadway in Rent, in Wicked, and her 2018 Madison Square Garden concert, also follows her experience with becoming a mother via in vitro fertilization and features interviews with collaborators, friends, and family.
