Broadway News Hamilton’s Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones Are Engaged The stars from the original Broadway cast announced their engagement from Europe.

Broadway stars Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones announced their engagement via Instagram January 4.

The couple have been dating since they debuted as part of the original cast of the smash hit Hamilton, where Ramos originated the dual roles of John Laurens/Philip Schuyler and Cephas Jones originated the dual roles of Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds. The show marked both of their Broadway debuts.

The two got engaged Christmas Eve in Arundel, England, before heading to Paris.

Since Hamilton, Cephas Jones has starred alongside co-star Daveed Diggs in Blindspotting, written by Diggs and Rafael Casal. She has had guest roles on such shows as Girls and Midnight, Texas and will be seen in the upcoming Blood Surf as Beth.

Ramos most recently appeared as Ramon, best friend to Lady Gaga’s Ally, in the hit remake of A Star Is Born. He was a series regular on Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It series, playing Mars Blackmon, and has a recurring role as Tony on NBC’s Will & Grace reboot. He is currently filming Honest Thief and will also star as Usnavi in the upcoming film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s first Broadway hit, In The Heights.
