The musical adaptation of A Bronx Tale ended its two-year stint on Broadway August 5 with a box office uptick. The production grossed $799,426 in its final week—its highest earnings since the week ending January 14. The musical was also just shy of playing to Standing Room Only, reaching 99.2 percent capacity.
The production recently saw its co-creator, Chazz Palminteri, step into the role of Sonny at select performances, making the actor the first to play the same role in a play, film, and musical.

Leading the pack were usual suspects Hamilton, The Lion King, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Frozen, and Hello, Dolly!—each grossing above $2 million. Also reaching seven figures was Broadway's newest arrival, Pretty Woman, which grossed $1,008,726 (84.44 percent of its potential) in seven performances.
