Each night, an actor playing former President George W. Bush will be put on trial for the destabilization of the Middle East. Eight audience members will be chosen as the jury.
With the verdict changing nightly, the ending of the show changes as well. Directed by Stephen Eich, The Trial of an American President began performances September 17 and officially opens September 29.
Edelstein will directs a cast of 30, with nearly 1,000 San Diegans participating directly in the milestone production that will mark the completion of the Bard’s canon at the venue.
