
Based on Bram Stroker's novel, Dracula; The Vampire Play in Three Acts is dramatized by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston. The event will take place March 8 at 7 PM in The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row.
Eric Bogosian will "talk about his fascination with Dracula and read excerpts from the classic stage version," according to an annonucement. The New Group artistic director Scott Elliott directs.
Gothic Horror and "Dracula" expert Professor Richard Kaye, of Hunter College, will introduce the evening, which also includes a Q&A session with the audience.
Bogosian — seen on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and on stage in LAByrinth Theatre Company's The Last Days of Judas Iscariot — is also known for his plays Talk Radio, subUrbia, Humpty Dumpty, Red Angel, Griller and more.
