As the overlap betwixt Disney World fans and theatre lovers is anything but slight, we thought you should know that the upcoming newly refurbished Country Bear Jamboree set includes some of Disney's most popular show tunes. The new show will begin performing July 17.

Yes, everyone's favorite band of country and western animatronic bears will soon be returning to performances after shuttering earlier this year for refurbishments. When the crew comes back, park goers will get to watch a brand-new concert with real Nashville pedigree. Country music icons Mac McAnally (who served as a music consultant on Broadway's Escape to Margaritaville), Emily Ann Roberts, Allison Russell, and Chris Thile all worked on the new song list as arrangers, vocalists, and producers.

The new set list moves away from the bears' typical country-born repertoire to work in some classic Disney tunes, many of which have become Broadway standbys as well, including "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid, "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from Mary Poppins, "Fixer-Upper" from Frozen, "Remember Me" from Coco, "Try Everything" from Zootopia, "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story, and "Bare Necessities" from The Jungle Book. And don't worry, Country Bear Jamboree purists; the show opens with a new, original non-show tune, "Country Bear Musical Jamboree," and closes with a Jamboree classic: "Come Again."

Anyone who's been to Marie's Crisis knows this will hardly be the first time a band of bears gathered to belt out "A Whole New World," but we're hyped to see the new show all the same.
