Tony, Grammy, and Emmy winner Rachel Bay Jones will return to The Public Theater's Joe's Pub with a new evening of cabaret September 11.
Rachel Bay Jones with Randy Redd and the (Ir)Regulars will be presented at 9:30 PM and will feature an eclectic mixture of music and guest artists, including Tony nominee Jennifer Laura Thompson, Ben Levi Ross, Martha Graham Cracker, and Fra Fee. Randy Redd is the musical director.
Jones received a Tony for her performance as Heidi Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen, for which she also received a Grammy and an Emmy. On Broadway she also starred as Catherine in Pippin and appeared in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Hair, and Meet Me in St. Louis. On screen Jones has appeared in The Good Doctor, Why Women Kill, United States of Al, God Friended Me, and Panic. In 2009 she released an album of stripped-down show tune covers, entitled ShowFolk.
