Regional News Dates Set for Brooklyn Engagement of Long Day’s Journey Into Night, Starring Jeremy Irons and Lesley Manville The Richard Eyre-helmed production played the Bristol Old Vic last year and will play a West End engagement before crossing the pond.

The Brooklyn Academy of Music engagement of the U.K.’s recent Long Day’s Journey Into Night revival will play the Harvey Theater in May 2018, following a West End transfer.

The Richard Eyre-helmed production of the Eugene O'Neill drama premiered at the Bristol Old Vic in March 2016. New York performances will run May 8–27, with Jeremy Irons and Lesley Manville reprising their roles as James and Mary Tyrone. A West End engagement is also set for early 2018 at London’s Wyndham’s Theatre.

The staging is also reportedly eyeing a Los Angeles bow following the run at BAM.

Hadley Fraser, Billy Howle, and Jessica Regan completed the cast in Bristol, though it has not yet been confirmed whether they will return to the encore engagements in 2018.
