National Tour News Come From Away Touring Production Announces Full Cast

The non-union tour, directed by Daniel Goldstein, launches in Alaska this fall.

The touring production of Come From Away has announced full casting ahead of its stop in Anchorage, Alaska. Daniel Goldstein directs the non-union tour and Richard J. Hinds provides musical staging, all based on the original Broadway production's direction and choreography. Come From Away will begin performances November 29 at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.

The cast will include Danny Arnold, Kathleen Cameron, Trey DeLuna, Addison Garner, Andrew Harvey, Andrew Hendrick, Hannah Kato, Chelsea LeValley, Kristin Litzenberg, Miranda Luze, Stanton Morales, Candace Alyssa Rhodes, Molly Samson, Jason Tyler Smith, Nathan David Smith, Shawn W. Smith, Dekontee Tucrkile, and Andre Williams.

Come From Away, with music, lyrics, and a book by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, opened on Broadway March 12, 2017, going on to receive seven 2017 Tony nominations including Best Musical. It was originally directed by Christopher Ashley (who won the show's sole Tony for Best Direction of a Musical) with musical staging by Olivier Award winner Kelly Devine and music supervision by Olivier Award winner Ian Eisendrath. The work, which played its final Broadway performance in October 2022, tells the true story of 7,000 air passengers stranded in Gander, Newfoundland, in the wake of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. 

The touring production will also feature scenic design by Tony winner Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Tony winner Howell Binkley, sound design by Gareth Owen, orchestrations by Olivier Award winner and Grammy & Tony Award nominee August Eriksmoen, tour music supervision by Wendy Bobbitt-Cavett, tour music direction by Harry Collins, and casting by The Telsey Office. The stage management team is led by production stage manager Abby Bobb, alongside assistant stage manager Jacob Ambrosia. Mackenzie Douglas serves as company manager, alongside assistant company manager Scott Montgomery.
