Fans of the Broadway musical Come From Away will be pleased to hear that the show is gifting a handful of free tickets from February 18 through March 12 in celebration of its Broadway birthday—no fish kissing required.
During those dates, which mark the anniversary of the beginning of the production's preview period and its opening night, the production will be giving away paired tickets for every single performance.
The musical comes from the writing duo Irene Sankoff and David Hein and tells the story of the September 11 attacks through the perspectives of passengers, flight staff, and the citizens of Gander, a small Canadian town that welcomed the unexpected arrival of 38 rerouted planes.
Detailed on Instagram, they specify that the requirement for the first entry period— tickets for performances from February 18 to February 27— is to leave a comment on their announcement post sharing who you'd gift your guest ticket to. You can also enter by tagging Come From Away (@wecomefromaway) in an Instagram post with the hashtag #ComeFromAwayItForward.
The Tony-Award-winning show also specifies an option for those who are unable to make it to Broadway. In the star-studded video, actor Happy McPartlin says, "Can't make it to Broadway? Comment below for your chance to win a Come From Away surprise." Details of the surprise have not yet been specified.
Other familiar faces that appeared in the social media clip are Emily Walton, Caesar Samayoa, Josh Breckenridge, James Seol, and Tony LePage.
Come From Away is currently playing at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. More information on the giveaway can be found at ComeFromAway.com.
