Also interpreting Summers' tunes will be Clifton Oliver (The Lion King), Virginia Woodruff (The Color Purple), Ty Stephens (Sophisticated Ladies), Brandi Chavonne Massey (Wicked), Janet Noh, and Ramona Dunlap.

Lee Summers is a writer whose newest work, Bayard, is an original musical tribute to unsung Civil Rights icon Bayard Rustin. Summers is creator, co-author, co-composer, and lead producer on Off-Broadway's From My Hometown. He is also librettist for Ella: First Lady of Song, conceived and directed by Maurice Hines, and co-librettist-lyricist-composer for The Funkentine Rapture. As a performer, Summers made his Broadway debut in the original Dreamgirls.
