Cicily Daniels (Once on This Island), Tamar Greene (Hamilton), and Ben Roseberry (The Lion King) will star in a concert presentation of Brett Macias’ Tall Tales of El Mexicano Blanco at New York's Green Room 42 January 30 at 7 PM.
Featuring songs from several of composer Macias' musicals in development, the concert will be available in person with a simultaneous live stream of the presentation.
Material will include lyrics by Maria Alexandria Beech, Geri Brown, Cicily Daniels, Ben Roseberry, and Fred Sauter, as well as Macias.
Joining Daniels, Greene, and Roseberry will be Lillian Andrea De León (In the Heights), Victoria Huston-Elem (Finding Neverland), and married couple Matthew Schatz (Heathers) and Kelsey Stalter (Gypsy).
Tall Tales of El Mexicano Blanco will feature music direction by Jason Liebson (KPOP) and a MUSE and Maestra centric band, including Liebson on keys, Jesse-Ray Leich on drums, Storm Thomas on percussion, Joseph Wallace on bass, and Matt Wong on guitar.
