News Chris Lemmon's Jack Lemmon Returns, New Play About His Father, Will Play Royal George Theatre #Jack Lemmon Returns, a new play with music by Chris Lemmon, will play the Royal George Theatre, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The play focuses on Chris Lemmon's relationship with his father, the Academy Award-winning actor Jack Lemmon.

Jack Lemmon Returns will begin previews May 2, prior to an official opening May 12. Hershey Felder will produce and direct.

Chris, the son of Jack Lemmon and Cynthia Stone, has performed in the TV shows "Knots Landing," "Duet" and "Brothers and Sisters." His film credits include "Just the Ticket" and "Land of the Free."

Jack Lemmon, a two-time Academy Award winner, starred in the films "Mister Roberts," "Some Like it Hot," "Days of Wine and Roses" and "The Odd Couple."

Chris' book "A Twist of Lemmon" is a tribute to his father. It was published in 2006.
