The upcoming Broadway revival of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People has revealed two new opportunities for seats to the show: a digital lottery policy, and newly added first row floor seating. The production will begin previews February 27 at Circle in the Square Theatre, with opening night set for March 18.

A limited number of $39 tickets, subject to availability, will be offered via a Telecharge digital lottery. The lottery opens at 12:00 AM ET one day before the performance, and winners are drawn at 10:00 AM ET (for matinee performances) and 3:00 PM ET (for evening performances) on the same day. Tickets are non-transferable, limited to two per person, and may be for any seating location, including standing room.

The production has also added special first row floor seating for an up-close experience. Click here to purchase tickets.

The company is led by Emmy Award winner Jeremy Strong (Succession) as Doctor Thomas Stockmann, Emmy winner Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) as Peter Stockmann, and Victoria Pedretti (The Haunting of Hill House) as Petra Stockmann. Joining them are David Patrick Kelly (Once) as Morten Kiil, Katie Broad, Bill Buell (Ink), Caleb Eberhardt (Choir Boy), Matthew August Jeffers, David Mattar Merten, Max Roll (Good Night, Oscar), Thomas Jay Ryan, and Alan Trong.

Newly adapted by 2023 Tony nominee Amy Herzog, the production will be directed by Tony winner Sam Gold. The production is the second Ibsen adaptation of Herzog's to reach the Broadway stage, following her Tony-nominated adaptation of A Doll's House that recently played Broadway's Hudson Theatre starring Jessica Chastain.

Set in a small Norwegian spa town, An Enemy of the People follows the principled Doctor Thomas Stockmann as he attempts to alert the public that the spa’s water is poisoned. The resulting backlash to his revelation, borne out of society's desperation for financial preservation, examines the morality of public outcry and the struggles shouldered by whistleblowers across time. This will be the first production of the work to play Broadway since 2012, when Boyd Gaines led a revival.

An Enemy of the People will feature scenic design by dots, costume design by David Zinn, lighting design by Isabella Byrd, sound design by Mikaal Sulaiman, production stage management by Rachel Bauder, technical supervision by Juniper Street Productions, and casting by Taylor Williams Casting. 101 Productions, Ltd. serves as general manager.
