They tend to have fiery personalities, which can make them a bit impulsive, but they have an inner strength that helps them pick themselves back up when they're knocked down. King Lear explores themes of human nature, ethics, and self-knowledge, as the titular character experiences betrayal and recognizes what he truly values in life. Taurus
(April 20–May 20)
As You Like It
Tauruses are known for being focused and pragmatic, but they also harbor a secretly romantic side. Those born under the sign of Taurus will immediately connect with the character of Rosalind in As You Like It. Upon being unexpectedly banished by an uncle, cool-headed and intelligent Rosalind and her cousin Celia disguise themselves as peasants and take cover in the forest of Arden. Rosalind stays in-character as a young shepherd boy, even when she runs into her love interest Orlando, but in true Taurus fashion, she manages to organize a plan where four couples are happily wed by the end of the play.

Gemini
(May 21–June 20)
The Comedy of Errors
Gemini are famously clever individuals who excel at communication and have a hearty sense of humor. They would most enjoy The Comedy of Errors, a play that features not one but two sets of identical twins. Confusion and hijinks ensue as Egeon of Syracuse goes searching for his lost son Antipholus and his servant Dromio, both of whom disappeared looking for their identical twins. Gemini will delight in the play’s complexity, loving the (lighthearted) drama and comedic mishaps resulting from so many twists and turns.

The Tempest
Cancers are fiercely loyal people, who value home, family, and security, but also have a secretly whimsical side. Featuring ethereal spirits, young love, timeless soliloquies, and a revenge plot that unfolds during a magical banquet, The Tempest is likely to be an instant favorite for any Cancer.

The Taming of the Shrew

The Taming of the Shrew follows the courtship between Katherine and Petruchio, as well as Katherine's younger sister Bianca and Lucentio. Leos will be captivated by the verbal sparring matches between witty Katherine and the brash Petruchio, and Lucentio's creative attempts to woo Bianca as he competes against fellow suitors for her affections.

Much Ado About Nothing
Cheerful, loyal, and always striving for order, Virgos are the perfectionists of the zodiac. Shakespeare’s most beloved romcom about a romantic set-up, duplicitous plots, and a staged death may not seem the most obvious choice for Virgos, but they will delight in the witty and hilarious (and eventually romantic) banter between Beatrice and Benedick, the many elaborate (and highly organized) schemes that unfold, and an ending where all the chaos of the play is neatly tied up.

In Romeo and Juliet, the titular star-crossed lovers find themselves instantly attracted to each other and immediately fall in love. Their love motivates them to navigate the unfortunate reality that their families are enemies, only to be thwarted by complications and interference. This water sign understands the power of love, so the tragic ending will have Scorpios grabbing the tissues.

Julius Caesar
Capricorns are well-known for their ambition, independence, and discipline. Because of these traits, they tend to be career-focused to the outside world, but those in their inner circle know they have big hearts. In fact, Capricorns are said to make great leaders should they use the power they've wielded for the greater good. Julius Caesar follows Caesar, Brutus, Cassius, and more as they all try to achieve their goals, create their legacies, and leave their marks on Rome. Aquarius
(January 20–February 18)
Twelfth Night
Aquarians love anything that excites the mind and defies convention, which makes Twelfth Night the perfect choice. The protagonist of Twelfth Night is Viola, a young woman who, after finding herself shipwrecked, decides to disguise herself as a boy and serve as a messenger to the local duke. Naturally, complications ensue when she’s expected to woo the Lady Olivia for her boss (with whom Viola herself is in love), while simultaneously keeping Lady Olivia from falling for her. Twelfth Night features characters defying gender norms, sword fights, elaborate pranks, mistaken identity, and some of the Bard’s most clever and hilarious wordplay—what more could an Aquarius want?

Pisces
(February 19–March 20)
Othello
Pisces are among the most emotionally intelligent signs of the zodiac. More than any other sign, their ability to empathize with and understand others’ motivations is their greatest strength—which is why they would love Othello. Othello tells the story of a gifted military general who falls in love with Desdemona. However, Othello’s jealous right-hand man Iago uses his intimate knowledge of Othello’s own insecurities against him—leading to disastrous results. Pisces will be thrilled by the play’s rich emotional drama, adore the romantic prose, and be fascinated by how Shakespeare explores human nature and the power of doubt.
