Off-Broadway News Brad Oscar, Bryce Pinkham, Tiffany Renee Thompson to Step Into Principal Roles in Little Shop of Horrors Off-Broadway

The hit revival of the Howard Ashman-Alan Menken musical continues at the Westside Theatre.

Tony nominees Brad Oscar and Bryce Pinkham will join the cast of Off-Broadway's Little Shop of Horrors  beginning September 27. Something Rotten! star Oscar will step into the role of Mushnik, succeeding Tom Alan Robbins, and Pinkham will play a limited six-week engagement as Dr. Orin Scrivello.

Pinkham, known for starring in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, will succeed Andrew Call, who replaced Christian Borle August 30. Hamilton star Call is expected to return to the sci-fi musical November 8. 

Beginning September 20, Tiffany Renee Thompson, a former vacation cover, will step into the role of Crystal full time.

The show, currently playing the Westside Theatre, welcomed Tony winner Lena Hall into the role of Audrey September 6. The Hedwig and the Angry Inch performer replaced original cast member Tammy Blanchard.

Along with Hall, Tony nominee Rob McClure currently leads the cast as Seymour, with Robbins as Mushnik (through September 25), Aaron Arnell Harrington as The Voice of Audrey II, Ari Groover as Ronnette, Cristina Raé as Crystal (through September 18), and Khadija Sankoh as Chiffon. Rounding out the cast are Josh Daniel, Camryn Hampton, Michael Iannucci, Weston Chandler Long, Chelsea Turbin, and Teddy Yudain.

The Off-Broadway revival resumed its run September 21, 2021, after temporarily closing in March 2020 due to the pandemic.

Directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer, the revival opened in October 2019. The creative team for the Howard Ashman-Alan Menken musical also includes choreographer Ellenore Scott, scenic designer Julian Crouch, lighting designer Bradley King, costume designer Tom Broecker, sound designer Jessica Paz, puppet designer Nicholas Mahon, original puppet designer Martin P. Robinson, hair and makeup designer Tommy Kurzman, music supervisor, orchestrator, and arranger Will Van Dyke, and casting director Jim Carnahan. Puppets are by Monkey Boys Productions.

General management is by Live Wire Theatrical/Chris Aniello, and production stage management is by Ryan Gohsman.
