News Alan Cumming Closes the Doors of the Kit Kat Klub; Cabaret Plays Final Performance The Broadway remount of Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall's Tony Award-winning production of Cabaret, starring Tony-winning Emcee Alan Cumming, plays its final performance March 29 at Studio 54.

Cumming, who reprised his acclaimed performance as the Emcee for the 2014 revival, co-stars with Sienna Miller (After Miss Julie), who is the production's final Sally Bowles. 

The Roundabout Theatre Company revival also features 2014 Tony Award nominees Linda Emond and Danny Burstein. It officially opened April 24, 2014, at Studio 54.

Academy Award winner Mendes (director) and Academy Award nominee Marshall (co-director/choreographer), who were Tony-nominated for their work on the 1998 production, returned to recreate their direction and choreography from the 1998 Tony Award-winning production. Once again, they converted Studio 54 into the gritty Kit Kat Klub, with cabaret-type seating as well as traditional theatre seating, to recreate the environment of the notorious pre-war Berlin nightclub.

The cast also features Bill Heck as Cliff, Aaron Krohn as Ernst and Hani Furstenberg as Fraulein Kost. The Kit Kat Klub boys and girls are Will Carlyon, Kaleigh Cronin, Caleb Damschroder, Benjamin Eakeley, Andrea Goss, Leeds Hill, Kristin Olness, Kelly Paredes, Jessica Pariseau, Dylan Paul, Evan Siegel, Stacey Sipowicz and Katrina Yaukey. Cabaret features a book by Joe Masteroff, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. It is based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood.

The original design team also returned for the 2014 production, including set and club design by Robert Brill, costume design by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Peggy Eisenhauer and Mike Baldassari and sound design by Brian Ronan. Patrick Vaccariello is the musical director.

Roundabout Theatre Company will launch a national tour of Cabaret, which will premiere in Providence, RI, at the Providence Performing Arts Center Jan. 26, 2016.
