
The CTG/Ahmanson Theatre's 43rd season at the Los Angeles Music Center will include the Los Angeles debut of Monty Python's Spamalot starring John O'Hurley as King Arthur (July 7-Sept. 6); Tracy Letts' Pulitzer Prize-winning dysfunctional-family drama, August: Osage County starring Estelle Parsons (Sept. 8-Oct. 18); the L.A. debut of the Disney-Cameron Mackintosh musical Mary Poppins (Nov. 13, 2009-Jan. 10, 2010); director-choreographer Robert Longbottom's new staging of the Motown-flavored Dreamgirls, direct from a run at Harlem's Apollo Theatre and including the film score's song, "Listen" (Feb. 24-April 4, 2010); and Lincoln Center Theater's new production of South Pacific, the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic about romance and racism during World War II, with a cast of 40 (June 29-Aug. 22, 2010). An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin will kick off the Ahmanson's season June 23-29. The Broadway Evita co-stars created this special concert in 2008.
