A further three months of advance tickets are to be released for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, for performances from May 2, 2018 to July 22, 2018. They will go on sale April 25 at 11 AM British Summer Time (6 AM ET).
The play, directed by John Tiffany and written by Jack Thorne, Tiffany, and J. K. Rowling, received a record nine Olivier Awards on April 9, including Best New Play.
To book, visit the Ticket Information page between 10:30 AM and 11 AM April 25. Visitors will be able to click on the “Waiting Room” buttons for the opportunity to enter the virtual waiting room to access tickets via either Nimax or ATG, the only official ticketing partners.
Patrons can join the virtual waiting room any time from 10:30 AM until 11 AM; it will not affect which queue number they receive. The randomization is to allow the purchase of tickets to be fair as possible and to protect customers from bots and ticket touts.
Entry into the virtual waiting room and queue is not a guarantee of tickets; customers entering the queue after booking opens at 11 AM are very unlikely to be successful in this release. Tickets are limited to a maximum of 6 per person per transaction.
The musical, a reinvention of Tim Burton’s cult classic film Edward Scissorhands, uses the pop music of Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Alanis Morissette, and more.
